Mouraria campeã is a documentary project about the significance of the marchas populares in the historic neighbourhood of Mouraria today. The backstory to the film are the two victories of Mouraria in the competition of the marchas populares in 1969 and 1981 and the urban transformations that the neighbourhood is currently experiencing.
